These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Sunforce application ("Service"), operated by Sunforce ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using Sunforce, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

Sunforce is an AI-powered financial intelligence tool for Shopify merchants. It provides profitability analysis, expense tracking, financial forecasting, and AI-driven insights through a conversational interface. The Service is designed to assist with financial management but is not a substitute for professional accounting or financial advice.

2. Eligibility

You must have an active Shopify store to use Sunforce. You must have the authority to install apps on your Shopify account and to grant the data access permissions required by the Service.

3. Account & Access

Access is managed through Shopify's authentication system
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account
Each Shopify store requires its own Sunforce installation

4. Billing & Plans

Sunforce offers Free, Pro ($29/month), and Pro+ ($79/month) plans
Paid plans are billed immediately upon subscription
Billing is handled through Shopify's billing system and appears on your Shopify invoice
You can cancel or change plans at any time through Shopify
No refunds for partial billing periods, consistent with Shopify's billing policies

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for illegal purposes or to process illegal transactions
Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
Use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service
Share your access with unauthorized third parties
Rely on the Service as your sole source of tax, legal, or compliance advice

6. AI-Generated Content

Sun's responses are generated by AI based on your store data. While we strive for accuracy:

AI outputs are informational only and should not replace professional financial, tax, or legal advice
Calculations depend on the completeness and accuracy of your store data and cost inputs
We do not guarantee that AI-generated financial projections, scenarios, or recommendations will be accurate
You are responsible for verifying critical financial decisions with a qualified professional

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all your store data. We use your data solely to provide and improve the Service.

8. Availability & Support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sunforce shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You can terminate by uninstalling Sunforce from your Shopify store at any time
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms
Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
